Riot Cabaret and Equity

In March 2020, Riot Cabaret agreed a Dignity at Work policy and internal Code of Conduct with Equity, the performers’ trade union. In doing so, we became the first promotion to have agreed such policies with Equity from its inception.

Five months later, Equity responded to the #SpeakingOut movement by releasing its 5 Pledges for Wrestling Promotions. We commit to always abiding to every single one of these pledges. We have done since our company was founded and we will continue to do.

In addition to this, we meet with Equity several times a year to monitor and ensure the proper application of the policies.

Performers also have the opportunity at all our shows to meet with a representative from Equity and privately discuss union and workplace matters. We strongly encourage all wrestlers to seek and maintain membership with Equity.
